Your Tasks

  • Lead planning and oversee Anticalin protein selections using phage and yeast display and high throughput screenings for ongoing discovery programs in time and in budget
  • Evaluate quality of antigens for selections and design target-focused Anticalin protein discovery strategies
  • Analysis and review of data, also by using tailor-made databases
  • Lead implementation and evaluation of new selection technologies
  • Closely collaborate with other functions, project leaders and department heads
  • Representative in project teams with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing to perform selections by hands-on work, if necessary
  • Technical supervision of team members and coordination of lab work
  • Close collaboration with team lead and approach proactively for updates; support team lead for budget, FTE and timeline planning

Our Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent degree in biological sciences or related scientific area (industry-relevant experience is a plus) or M.Sc. in biological sciences or related scientific area with several years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Phage or Mammalian/ Yeast Display and high throughput screenings
  • Excellent knowledge of analysis of large amounts of data (and/or VBA programming) and profound knowledge in operation of automation equipment
  • Demonstrated organizational and documentation skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple technical projects in a fast-paced environment, experience in management tools is a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of drug discovery process of biologics
  • Proficiency in English is essential
  • Proven team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
