To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced

(Senior) Technical Assistant (m/f/d), Display Technologies

Your Tasks:

  • Planning, performing, evaluation and documentation of experiments
  • Selections of Anticalin proteins and antibody-fragments using yeast display technology applying FACS-Sorting based methods
  • Applying molecular biology techniques for library construction
  • Design and perform assays to screen for desired characteristics and activities of Anticalin proteins/antibody-fragments
  • Communication and scientific exchange within internal project meetings

Our Requirements:

  • BTA/CTA/MTA, B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in biological sciences or related life science field with 2 + years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in bacteria, yeast and mammalian culture
  • Experience with FACS sorting is highly desired
  • Molecular biology skills including PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, cloning
  • Experience with yeast or other display library high-throughput binding assays (ELISA, flow cytometry) is preferable
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Proven team player, self-sufficient and communicative appearance
  • Willingness to approach and learn new methods and techniques
