Your Tasks

  • Generate stable CHO cell lines for preclinical development programs
  • Conduct studies to optimize existing platform technologies
  • Lead implementation and evaluation of new technologies in cell line development as well as transient protein production
  • Production of recombinant proteins at large-scale using transient and stable CHO cells
  • Manage work assignments, analyze and interpret test results, and conduct necessary troubleshooting; consult with supervisor as needed
  • Write operating procedures and technical reports
  • Record and archive documentation pertaining to stable cell line generation for future regulatory applications
  • Support internal transient productions on a need-to basis

Our Requirements

  • University degree (B.Sc./ M.Sc.) in biotechnology, biology or related discipline or education as Technical Assistant (BTA, CTA or MTA)
  • 2-4 years of work experience in the industry
  • Experience in mammalian CHO suspension culture and recombinant protein production is essential
  • Experience in cell line development and upstream processing is a plus
  • Experience in protein purification and downstream processing is beneficial
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organized and efficient person and able to work according to timelines
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • English is essential
